The Change Management Foundation certification provides a fundamental understanding of change management principles. It equips individuals with the essential knowledge and skills to support and contribute to successful change initiatives within organizations.
OBJECTIVES
By the end of the course, you should be able to:
- Recall and understand the theories, concepts, models, and approaches covered in the course, including terminology, process sequences, and roles.
- Identify key features of the organizational context for a change initiative, including the benefits sought, the change approach, and the organizational culture.
- Offer insights into human responses to change, suggesting strategies to manage negative impacts and support individuals through the change.
- Differentiate between valid concerns and resistance to change, recognize signs of resistance, and propose ways to address it.
- Recommend and support actions for various roles in the change process, such as change sponsors, line leaders, and change agents, and promote effective teamwork.
- Describe key elements of stakeholder engagement in a change initiative and relate this to developing communication strategies.
- Discuss the impacts of a change initiative, their severity, and how to measure progress with colleagues.
